- Desktop Solutions: Deploy OpenERP Appliance on the latest free of charge VMware player for windows (VMware Fusion on Mac OS X) : VMware player default settings allow to reach the appliance from your windows browser, while virtualbox requires customization.
- Converting this TKL iso appliance to OVZ and LXC containers (TKL forum)
- Server Solutions (non KVM), all of them offered by OVH excepting AWS:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) / EC2 (Xen based virtualization, public cloud) ***: How to import virtual machine images from your existing environment to Amazon EC2 instances ***
- VMware ESXi/vSphere 5.0 (VMware player images can be imported, private cloud) ***
- Citrix Xen Server (private cloud)
- ParallelsVirtuozzo Containers (private cloud, OpenVZ containers)
- Microsoft Hyper-V Server (private cloud)
- CloudFoundry (private and public clouds, sponsored by VMware): wikipedia link
- Server Solutions (KVM opensource hypervisor compliant): AWS will probably remain the dominant public cloud provider in the foreseeable future followed by additional public clouds such as RackSpace (based on OpenStack)
- Existing opensource VM management solutions (TKL forum)
- opennebula.org (private cloud): wikipedia link ***
- StackOps.org (Spanish company, private cloud) based on OpenStack (OpenStack High Availability , wikipedia link) and available at RackSpace Hosting provider (public cloud) ***

- RHEV 3.0 : A VMware vSphere like approach. It requires at least 2 nodes, 1 hypervisor and 1 management console (RHEV Manager) plus RHEN subscription/licence. (private cloud)
- ovirt.org is the opensource proyect of RHEV 3.0 and an be installed on CentOS platforms (private cloud)
- virt-manager/libvirt based solution: virt-manager is a desktop GUI tool that can also manage remote libvirt based hypervisors (private cloud)

- Eucalyptus.com (private cloud): wikipedia link
- Enomaly Elastic Computing Platform (ECP) (public cloud)

- Proxmox VE, a recommended and tested Server Solution (KVM): Deploy Proxmox Virtual Environment, an easy to use Open Source virtualization platform for running Virtual Appliances and Virtual Machines (private cloud). There is no need to install a separate management tool, everything can be done via your web browser. Proxmox is NOT virt-manager/libvirt compliant (can’t be managed by virt-manager).Run openerp appliance on KVM instead of OpenVZ.
- TKL and Proxmox integration.TurnKey OpenVZ optimized builds + Proxmox VE channel ****
- Proxmox Bridge configuration Video
- Proxmox Network Model: Most hosting providers do not support the above setup (Bridge). For security reasons they disable networking as soon as they detect multiple MAC addresses on a single interface. A common workaround is a Routed Configuration.

- ISPs offering Proxmox VE already installed and ready to go:
- OVH (Proxmox partner, recommended one) ****: OVH.es , OVH.de , OVH.co.uk , OVH.fr ,OVH.it , OVH.ie, etc. They offer 3 IP-failover addresses that can be used to bridge your Virtual Machines and making them reachable from Internet. 1) Link your IP-failover to a virtual MAC addr from your OVH admin account; 2) from proxmox set up your bridged NIC of your VM with that MAC address; 3) from openerpappliance’s confconsole set up your VM with the former IP-failover addr.
- kapper.net : second Proxmox Hosting Partner and also in Vienna. Like OVH, they support the project with hosting services – the main difference is the company size – if you only trust a big company, go for OVH. If you want the flexibility of a smaller one, go for kapper.net
- euserv.com (not Proxmox Partner)
- hetzner.de (not Proxmox Partner): Proxmox is not listed in their offer but can be requested.
- Cloud Hosting providers offering KVM with High Availability, migration & redundancy (VPS with HA and web admin control panel). Cloud 1.0 (IaaS, cloud management and CDN software)
- http://onapp.com/ **** OnApp is the only one that pretty much comes “Out of the box”. The other ones require much more putting together.
- http://www.solusvm.com/ *** SolusVM 2.0 (soon to be released) will have high availability features too
- http://www.convirture.com
- etc
- Cloud 2.0 (cloud based PaaS for developers, NoOps solutions)
- Hosting providers offering private and public clouds (cloud technology not specified): Apparently the customer is not able to deploy its custom appliance (like this openerp appliance) on their VPS offer, but can be requested. You can also purchase a dedicated server and set up your favourite cloud/hypervisor solution.
